About

In the last few years there has been a significant growth in the health and wellbeing sector. You’ve probably heard of the concept of resilience or the importance of self-care. Or, you might have come across positive psychology or practiced mindfulness.

Many proactive companies and organisations have now recognised the importance of their employees’ health and wellbeing and have created specific positions to focus on this. Likewise, many schools are now placing an emphasis on mental health and wellbeing and running targeted programs.

However, in rural and regional NSW this appears to not be as commonplace. It is because of this gap in service provision that Grow – Social Work Services and Consulting was founded.
